The sixth South Asian Conference on Public Policy and Governance, organized by the Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC), was successfully held on 26–27 Chaitra 2082 (9–10 April 2026) under the theme:
“Resilience and Renewal: Reenvisioning Governance through Youth Engagement, Digital Transformation, and Cultural Narratives in South Asia.”
The conference brought together policymakers, administrators, researchers, and representatives from academic institutions across Nepal and other South Asian countries. It featured deliberations and paper presentations on contemporary issues in public administration, including governance reform, digital transformation, youth engagement, and climate change.
The program included an inaugural session, keynote addresses, two panel discussions, and multiple thematic technical sessions, which significantly contributed to strengthening regional knowledge exchange and policy dialogue.
The conference was co-organized by the Public Administration Association of Nepal (PAAN), and is believed to have made an important contribution to promoting inclusive, responsive, and technology-enabled governance in South Asia. On this occasion, the President of PAAN, Madhu Raman Acharya, delivered the welcome remarks, while the Executive Director of NASC, Ram Sharan Pudasaini, delivered the closing remarks and thanked the participants.
On the successful completion of the Sixth South Asian Conference on Public Policy and Governance, the Public Administration Association of Nepal (PAAN), as a co-organizer, extends its sincere gratitude to all members and participants who contributed directly and indirectly through the exchange of knowledge, experience, and ideas.
